This is our most popular 1965-66 Ford Mustang hood and it is now made with 50% CARBON FIBER for strength and weight savings! The tall version of the 1967 scoop has roughly 2.5″ of clearance above the carb/aircleaner. Smooth finish on top and bottom.
All Maier hoods are designed with aluminum in the inner frame that has
been drilled and tapped to accept stock hood hinges and latches. Please
note that we DO NOT recommend hood springs or shocks. Please use a prop rod only to hold up the hood.
